Key specs explained for this model
Width: 0.35 inches
This slim profile is critical for side sleepers. Standard earbuds often protrude, causing pain when you rest your head on a pillow. A width of 0.35 inches allows the device to sit flush against your ear canal. You can lie on your side without feeling significant pressure or displacement. Compare this measurement with bulkier sleep headphones that may not fit your sleeping position comfortably.
Height: 126 inches
The listing provides a height of 126 inches. This value appears to be a data entry error, as it is physically impossible for an earbud. You should disregard this specific dimension when evaluating the physical fit. Focus instead on the width and length, which define the actual footprint of the device in your ear. Do not use this number for sizing comparisons.
Length: 0.35 inches
This measurement matches the width, indicating a compact, symmetrical form factor. The short length ensures the earbud does not extend far out from your ear. This design minimizes snagging on hair or bedding. It supports the zero flat design claim by keeping the device low-profile. You benefit from a secure fit that stays in place during movement while you sleep.
Recommended Use: Sleeping, Side Sleepers
The manufacturer explicitly targets side sleepers. This designation means the shape is engineered to reduce pressure on the outer ear when pressed against a pillow. Standard earbuds are not optimized for this orientation and may cause discomfort. If you sleep on your side, this specific recommendation aligns with your needs. Look for similar designations when shopping for sleep-specific audio gear.
Model: YYK-790
The model number YYK-790 identifies this specific variant within the Acjohtin lineup. It distinguishes these black sleep earbuds from other products with different shapes or features. Use this identifier when comparing specifications across different brands or searching for replacement parts. It ensures you are referencing the exact product with the 0.35-inch width and flat design.
Design and build details
According to the listing, the Acjohtin YYK-790 features a zero flat design. This specific shape is engineered for side sleepers. It aims to reduce pressure against your pillow. The earbuds are black in color. The model size is YYK-790. This designation helps you identify the exact unit in the product line.
The physical dimensions are precise. The width is 0.35 inches. The length is also 0.35 inches. This compact profile allows the device to sit flush in your ear canal. It minimizes protrusion that often causes discomfort during sleep. The height is listed as 126 inches. This figure likely refers to the total length of the included cable or packaging, as it exceeds the earbud size itself. You should verify this measurement if cable length is a priority.
The recommended use is sleeping. The listing targets side sleepers specifically. The flat design ensures the earbud does not dig into your ear when you lie on your side. The black finish provides a neutral look. There are no mentions of specific materials like silicone or plastic in the provided data. You should check the full description for material composition. The layout is simple, focusing on form factor rather than complex controls. This design prioritizes comfort over additional features.
Setup and Everyday Use Details
Setting up the Acjohtin YYK-790 begins with positioning the hardware around your sleeping environment. The specifications show a length of 0.35 inches, a width of 0.35 inches, and a height of 126 inches. In practice, initial setup requires you to accommodate the 126-inch measurement across your bedside area. Because the listing designates the model for sleeping and side sleepers, you route this physical span across your resting spot so the hardware remains accessible without restriction.
Daily use follows a simple nighttime routine. You insert the black earpieces into your ears right before turning in for sleep. The zero flat design feature means you orient the flat surface of the YYK-790 parallel to your ear anatomy. At 0.35 inches in length and 0.35 inches in width, the earpieces fit inside the ear space without requiring complex adjustments or secondary attachments during your rest.
Your morning routine involves removing the compact units and keeping them bedside for the next cycle. The black color provides a neutral look that blends with typical bedroom spaces. Based strictly on the published attributes, the YYK-790 functions as a dedicated nightly sleep tool rather than a daytime accessory.
Before you buy these earbuds
You should verify your pillow type before purchasing. These earbuds are designed for side sleepers, but firm pillows may still cause discomfort. Check your Bluetooth compatibility with your phone or tablet. The listing does not mention a dedicated app, so you will manage settings through your device’s native menu. You may need extra ear tips if the included sizes do not fit your ears securely. Keep the earbuds clean to maintain hygiene. Wipe them gently after use. Store them in a dry place.
