The earbuds use Bluetooth 6.0 for stable connectivity and offer 40 hours of total playtime with the case. They also feature IPX7 waterproofing and a secure ear-hook design. The standout element is the touchscreen on the charging case, which lets you control music, adjust volume, and switch noise modes without touching your phone. This guide breaks down how these specs work in daily use.
What stands out
- Touchscreen case controls music, volume, and ANC modes
- Bluetooth 6.0 with 15m range and instant pairing
- 40 hours total battery life with quick charge support
- IPX7 waterproof rating for sweat and rain protection
- 13mm dynamic drivers with five preset EQ modes
Who it fits
Good fit for
These earbuds suit runners and gym-goers who need a secure fit during intense movement. The ear hooks and IPX7 rating keep them stable and dry. Commuters and travelers will appreciate the 40-hour battery life and active noise cancellation. The touchscreen case is ideal for users who want to adjust settings without unlocking their phone. If you prefer hands-free convenience and long battery life, this model fits your routine.
Who should skip it
Buyers who prefer traditional earbud designs without ear hooks should look elsewhere. The over-ear strap may feel bulky or uncomfortable for some users. If you need a dedicated companion app for custom sound profiles, this model lacks that feature, offering only five preset EQs. Users who want a lightweight, minimalist case might find the touchscreen interface unnecessary. Those who prioritize small form factors over battery capacity should consider other options.
Verdict: The LEEMC TP03 combines solid battery life and waterproofing with a unique touchscreen case. It is a practical choice for active users who value convenience and secure fit.
Key specs explained for LEEMC
Driver Size: 13 mm
The 13 mm dynamic driver is larger than the standard 6 mm or 8 mm units found in many earbuds. A larger driver moves more air, which typically results in deeper bass response and clearer high-frequency details. You will notice this during workouts when you need strong rhythmic beats to stay motivated. If you prefer balanced audio over heavy bass, this size offers a wider dynamic range than smaller drivers.
Water Resistance: IPX7
IPX7 certification means the earbuds can withstand immersion in water up to one meter for thirty minutes. This rating protects against heavy sweat during intense gym sessions and sudden downpours while running. You do not need to worry about moisture damage from rain or accidental splashes. This level of protection is essential for athletes who train in various weather conditions without removing their gear.
Bluetooth Version: 6.0
Bluetooth 6.0 provides a stable wireless connection with a range of up to fifteen meters. This version ensures instant pairing when you open the case and maintains a consistent link between your phone and earbuds. You will experience fewer dropouts or audio glitches compared to older Bluetooth standards. This reliability is crucial for uninterrupted listening during commutes or outdoor activities where signal interference might occur.
Total Battery Life: 40 hours
The charging case extends the total listening time to forty hours, combining with the nine hours available from the earbuds alone. This allows you to go several days without needing to plug in the case. You can rely on this capacity for long trips or multi-day events without carrying a power bank. It reduces the frequency of charging cycles, ensuring your audio gear is always ready for use.
Design and build details
The LEEMC TP03 earbuds arrive in an Obsidian finish. According to the listing, the case measures 3.14 inches in length, 2.39 inches in width, and 1.38 inches in height. It weighs 2.57 ounces total. The earbuds themselves are lightweight at 7.1 grams each. This low mass helps reduce ear fatigue during long listening sessions. The over-ear hooks are flexible, designed to stay secure during intense movement. You receive three sizes of silicone tips to ensure a proper seal.
Control layout prioritizes direct interaction. The charging case features a responsive touchscreen. You can adjust volume, switch between ANC and Transparency modes, and change EQ presets without touching your phone. The earbuds also have touch-sensitive panels. You can manage playback, answer calls, and activate your voice assistant directly on the device. This dual-control system offers flexibility depending on your situation.
The IPX7 waterproof rating indicates strong resistance to sweat and rain. This makes the earbuds suitable for gym workouts and outdoor running in wet conditions. The secure fit combined with the waterproofing suggests these are built for active use. The USB-C cable included in the package supports standard charging routines. The design focuses on durability and ease of use for sports enthusiasts.
Setup and Everyday Use
Setting up the LEEMC TP03 earbuds begins with opening the charging case lid. The listing states that this action triggers instant pairing via Bluetooth 6.0. You do not need to manually search for the device in your phone’s settings. The connection remains stable up to 15 meters, allowing you to move around your space without dropouts. The earbuds weigh 7.1 grams each, which contributes to a secure fit during physical activity. The flexible over-ear hooks and three sizes of silicone tips ensure they stay in place. You can swap between Normal, Rock, Classic, Pop, and Jazz EQ presets directly from the case’s touchscreen. This feature lets you adjust the sound profile without touching your phone. You can also switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode using the case or by triple-tapping the earbuds. The touch-sensitive panels on the earbuds handle music playback, call management, and voice assistant activation. This allows for hands-free control while running or working out. The IPX7 rating means you can use them in rain or intense sweat without damage. If you misplace an earbud, the Find My Earbud feature on the case’s 16-language interface makes it beep. A quick ten-minute charge provides one hour of playback, which helps if you forget to charge them overnight. The total battery life reaches 40 hours with the case, supporting extended daily use.
Before You Buy These Earbuds
You should verify that your phone supports Bluetooth 6.0 for the advertised instant pairing and stable 15-meter range. While the earbuds themselves do not require an app for basic touch controls, the case’s touchscreen interface offers EQ presets and camera remote features that may need specific device compatibility. You will need a USB-C cable for charging, which is included, but keeping a spare is practical for travel. The IPX7 waterproof rating means you can wear these in rain or during heavy sweat sessions without worry. However, you should clean the touch-sensitive panels regularly to ensure responsive control. The 13 mm drivers deliver bass, so you might prefer them for pop or rock genres over classical music. These earbuds fit well alongside other sport-focused options in the Headphones & Earbuds category, offering a unique case interface that distinguishes them from standard models. Consider if the touchscreen convenience outweighs the need for a dedicated companion app.
