Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider these earbuds if you need long battery life for travel or long days. The IP67 rating makes them suitable for workouts in rain or heavy sweat. Users who want to control their noise cancellation levels via the Skullcandy App will appreciate the customizable Stay-Aware Mode. The rapid charge feature helps if you often forget to charge your devices overnight. The total 58-hour capacity reduces how often you need to plug in the case.
Who should skip it
You might look at another option if you need wired connectivity, as these are wireless only. The data does not mention a dedicated physical remote or separate microphone array beyond the four mics for noise cancellation. If you require a companion app for every feature, note that the App is required for Personal Sound and EQ adjustments. Users who prefer earbuds without any software dependency for basic playback may find the app requirement restrictive for full customization.
Verdict: The Skullcandy Push ANC Active Wireless Earbuds offer substantial battery life and robust water resistance. They are a practical choice for users prioritizing endurance and durability over other features.
Key specs explained for Push ANC
Total Battery Life: Up to 58 hours
This rating includes the earbuds and charging case. You get 12 hours from the earbuds alone, plus 46 hours in the case. This allows for extended trips without finding an outlet. It suits travelers or commuters who want to recharge less often. Compare this total against other wireless earbuds that offer shorter combined playtimes for daily use.
Single Charge Battery: 12 hours
The earbuds last 12 hours on a single charge. This covers most workdays or long flights without needing the case. It reduces the frequency of charging sessions. Look for this spec to ensure your earbuds last through your longest daily listening sessions. Higher single-charge times mean fewer interruptions during your day.
Water Resistance: IP67
IP67 means the earbuds are fully dust-tight and can survive immersion in water up to one meter for 30 minutes. This protects against heavy rain, sweat, and accidental drops in puddles. It is ideal for runners or gym users. Check this rating if you exercise outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Noise Cancellation: Active Noise Cancelling
This feature uses four microphones to detect and cancel outside noise. It helps you focus in loud environments like offices or planes. You can adjust the level of silence. Compare this to passive isolation, which relies only on fit. Active cancellation is better for consistent low-frequency hums.
Transparency Mode: Stay-Aware Mode
Stay-Aware Mode lets you hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds. You can adjust the level of outside sound through the app. This is useful for crossing streets or hearing announcements. It balances safety with music enjoyment. Look for adjustable levels to control how much external noise you hear.

This coverage provides assurance for the build quality and durability of the materials used in the device.
